A man finds a wallet with $700 inside.

A man finds a wallet with $700 in it.

A few days later, he reads a notice stating that a wealthy man has lost his wallet and is offering a $50 reward to anyone who returns it.

He soon locates the owner and gives him the wallet, and the rich man counts the money and says, “I see you have already taken your reward.” The poor man responds,

“What are you talking about?” The wealthy man continues, “This wallet had $750 in it when I lost it.”

The poor man replied “I am sorry sir but when I found it up it only had $700”

The two men began arguing, and eventually they end up in court to sort out their differences. Both men present their case, the poor man first, then the wealthy man who concludes by saying,

“Your Honor, I trust you believe me.”

The Judge says, “Of course.” The rich man smiles, and the poor man is devastated.

Then the Judge takes the wallet out of the wealthy man’s hands and gives it to the poor man who found it.

“What are you doing?” the rich man yells angrily. The Judge responds,

“You are, of course, an honest man, and if you say that your missing wallet had $750 in it, I’m sure it did – but if the man who found this wallet is a liar and a thief, he wouldn’t have returned it at all, which means that this wallet must belong to somebody else. If that man steps forward, he’ll get the money – otherwise, it stays with the man who found it.”

“What about my money?” the rich man asks.

“Well, we’ll just have to wait until somebody finds your wallet with the $750 in it.

I Overheard My Husband’s Real Reason for Staying Married—So I Made Sure It Cost Him Everything

For fifteen years, I believed my husband, Daniel, and I were building a happy life together with our three children—Olivia, Noah, and Grace. My business had grown…

A new client spent his entire manicure bragging about the wealthy married man he was dating — when he showed me his photo, I nearly dropped the nail polish, but I knew exactly what I needed to do next. I’ve been doing nails for almost five years, and trust me, people will tell their nail tech everything. Honestly, becoming a nail tech wasn’t exactly my dream. But after getting married, I was struggling to find a steady job, so I gave it a shot. Turns out, I’m pretty good at it, and I actually enjoy hearing my clients’ stories. Well, most of them. Last Friday, a new client came in, a guy in his mid-thirties who seemed friendly enough. We were barely ten minutes into his manicure when he started talking about his love life. “Girl, you have no idea how lucky I am.” “Let me guess. Something romantic?” He laughed. “How’d you know?” “I can always tell when someone’s in love!” He grinned. “Well, I’ve got myself a rich boyfriend. Like, seriously rich.” “Good for you!” “He’s got a gorgeous house, takes me to fancy restaurants, buys me whatever I want.” “Sounds like quite a catch.” “Oh, there’s just one little problem.” “What’s that?” “He’s married.” Honestly, I’ve always hated that kind of thing, especially being married myself. But I wasn’t about to lecture a client. “Wait, seriously?” I asked. “Relax! His wife barely pays attention to him. He’s practically single anyway.” I couldn’t believe how casually he said it, but I kept smiling. Arguing with clients isn’t exactly good for business. He went on about expensive gifts and weekend getaways while I tried to focus on his manicure. Then he pulled out his phone. “Actually, wanna see him? He’s pretty handsome.” Before I could answer, he turned the screen toward me. And there he was. My hand jerked, and I nearly knocked over the bottle of nail polish. “Whoa, you okay?” he asked. “Yeah, I’m fine,” I managed. My heart was pounding, but I forced myself to keep working. I wasn’t about to let him see how much that photo had shaken me, especially now that I knew exactly what I needed to do next.⬇️ ⬇️ See less
